He has completed his doctoral studies in the field of solar energy from Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University (PDPU). His doctoral study was focused on inventing the process of depositing Silicon on carbon electrochemically for creating anode for energy Storage application. He has published two peer reviewed papers and got 1 patent for this invention.

He has been involved in with mutiple PSUs and Govt. Bodies for for providing advisory serices in clean energy domain.
On Acedemic front, He has lead the process of establishing the Centre of Excellence on renewable energy at Charusat University. The aim of this centre was to focus on national & state level renewable deployment strategies and develop the commercial R&D laboratories through corporate partnerships and also serve the industries through technological innovation, energy economics & policy, adaptability of energy policy.
